Jack San Felice is the author of Superstition Cowboys, and When Silver Was King, as well as numerous articles on the Superstitions published locally, including the Apache Junction Independent. His latest book named Lost El Dorado of Jacob Waltz -Arizona's Lost Dutchman Mine was released in 2015. The author’s books contain many photos and illustrations that depict sites, trails, treasure signs and hunters, cowboys, miners, strange characters and activities of his subjects. Jack is the recipient of the prestigious Superstition Mountain Treasure Hunter of the Year Award for 2015, presented by the Superstition Mountain Victory Club of Arizona.
